April 1999 • see Protocoll at www.balticom.org • Second meeting of the workgroup to follow soon in the first quarter of 2000 • The practical attempt: • Installation of a ZAPP-Terminal in Finland • Discussion with Port @ Net about an EDI-Link • Status: • Still trying to organize a second meeting of the workgroup in Finnland. • Discussion with Port @ Net up to now without an result

  3. 3rd Project Meeting Klaipeda, 6-9 September 2000 BALTICOM - BALTIC Transport Communication and Regional Development WP 4 : Intermodal transport - Dangerous Goods • Possibilities fields of co-operation: • Pre-announcement about dangerous goods send from Hamburg to finnish Port Authorities • Visualization of the Dangerous Goods Locations in the finnish Ports (see workshop of Jan. the 11th 2000) • Exchange of dangerous goods declaration • Status: • Discussion with Port @ Net about exchange of data (method, cost) • Awaiting answer of Port @ Net.

  6. 3rd Project Meeting Klaipeda, 6-9 September 2000 BALTICOM - BALTIC Transport Communication and Regional Development WP 6 : Hinterland rail connection • Status: • Polzug is using the new application UNIKAT and the link of the Polzug-application to UNIKAT for all Container-Transports starting in Hamburg and Bremen/Bremerhaven, there is no „Double-typing“ for these transports. • The interface needs further adjustments. • The next steps will be: • Automatization of data-processing in UNIKAT • Implementation of a new interface between UNIKAT and Stevedores in Hamburg for statusinformation • Upgrade of the Polzug-System (by HPC)
