Cognates are words that have a common etymological origin (ENG) Globe / Globo (SPA)
Cognates (A) Area , Banana, and Cable are alike, but they have different pronunciation.
Cognates (C ) Chimney and Chimenea have the same root “Chim” but look at the suffix “ney” and “Enea”
Cognates (C, D) Different and Diferente have two differences, but the double consonant is common in English, in Spanish are very few words like “Accion/Action” one example of double consonant.
