Description BonDuitTM Conduit Adhesive is a two-part, rapid-cure resin system designed to bond polyethylene, PVC, fiberglass metals and composites. It forms a durable long-lasting, strong bond that is airtight and watertight.
Easy To Use • Create a splice in less than 5-minutes. • No special tools • No special • training needed
BonDuitTM BT-KIT • The BT-KIT contains all material to make a joint. BonDuitTM BT-KITG includes the application tool for applying BonDuitTM.
Cut Conduit To prepare the splice, cut conduit to the desire length. Make a 90o angle cut. Taper edges with a rasp or knife to a 45o angle.
Sanding Conduit Use 80-grit abrasive cloth to sand outside of conduit ½ inch beyond the depth of the coupling.
Sand Coupling Use 80-grit abrasive cloth to sand inside of coupling. Surface should be rough with all polish removed.
Clean Coupling and Conduit Clean sanded surfaces of both conduit & coupling with TRTM Cleaner to remove any oils and displace moisture.
BonDuitTM Cartridge • BonDuitTM Adhesive is packaged in a 1.7oz (50 ml) multi-use cartridge. • Static mixer combines the two parts.
Dispensing Tool Insert cartridge into dispensing tool for an easy, clean way to mix and apply BonDuitTM Conduit Adhesive.
Prime The Cartridge • Prime the cartridge by depressing the handle 1 to 2 times after the material is coming out of the nozzle. This will make sure you are getting an even mixture.
Applying BonDuitTM Place BonDuitTM in a 1/8- to 1/4-inch bead around the outer edge of the conduit.
Placing Coupling on Conduit Immediately twist coupling onto the conduit. Smooth any excess BonDuitTM.
Finished Watertight and airtight seals. High-strength durable bond. Finish in minutes. No special tools or training.
