THE STOMACH By Erin and Farrah
How it works ? • You need to have a esophagus, stomach and duodenum all working together to give nutrients for the blood. • The Stomach helps the large food masses go into small particles.
The digestive system • When you chew up your food it turns it into a big wet ball. Then it turns it into sugar! Then you swallow and its on the way to your stomach. • If your intestines catch some chemicals they bring it down to the urinary system.
Does this make you sick? • Imagine being inside a big pink muscular bag -- sloshing back and forth in a sea of half-digested mush and being mixed with digestive chemicals. Acid rains down from the pink walls which drip with mucus to keep them from being eroded. • Passage from http://yucky.discovery.com
