Intro to the course • Course objectives: • Understand the concepts of strategic marketing and the many interrelated criteria necessary for retail success. • To examine each of the facts of strategic marketing • To develop the ability to think strategically and exposed to the complexity of strategic decision-marketing
Intro to the course • Assessments: • The assessment is designed to both aid student learning and to evaluate individual students’ learning. Specifically, the assessment items will test the level of student understanding of the major topics (both theoretical and practical) covered in this subject. • (Note: all essays and writing assignments, 3% of the mark will be for grammar)

Intro to the course • Teaching methods and styles • 1.5 hours of lecture and 1.5 hours of tutorial per week • There will be no make-up of mid-term and final exam. Official notification with contact number must be submitted 2 weeks in advance. If approved by the instructor and the head of the faculty of business, different exam is given and taken before the exam schedule. • Text Books: • Numbers of textbooks will be announced later

School policies School Policies: • Unethical and dishonest practices will not be tolerated. Plagiarism, copied papers and cheating are such offences. Papers condemned on these grounds will receive a zero mark without an opportunity to resubmit them. In addition, LAC has formal disciplinary procedures that will follow in these circumstances. • Exams: there will be no make-up of mid and final exams. NO ADMISSION to the class without the school uniform. Students will not be permitted to write the exam or a make-up if he/she is not in the school’s uniform on that day. • Lateness: will not be tolerated. If you are late you will not be permitted inside the classroom and will receive a MINUS.
