  1. 1914 – World War 1 begins. Great Britain Germany

  2. The United States was helping the Allied Powers by sending ships with weapons and food to Britain. It also helped Britain block food from going to Germany. v President Woodrow Wilson v Atlantic Ocean v v v v v v

  3. Germany began to use submarines to sink ships in the Atlantic Ocean.

  4. 1,198 people died. 128 of them were Americans! But one day, they bombed the wrong ship! Lusitania

  5. Germany kept bombing Allied ships! They were trying to keep supplies from reaching Great Britain.

  6. Americans in in 1914-1917 We have compassion for them. We sympathize with the Allies.

  7. Woodrow Wilson It’s time to join the Allies in this fight!

  8. America joined World War 1 in April of 1917. America sent thousands of soldiers to France to help the Allies. v v Atlantic Ocean v v v v America sent battleships to help Britain fight the Allies. v v America sent supply ships to Europe.

  9. We are going to DEFEAT the CENTRAL POWERS!

  10. In 1918, the Central Powers surrendered to the Allied Powers! We Surrender! 1918 We Surrender!
