A. In the classroom • Lessons and activities to inform the student about FHA-HERO • Program component posters and discussion • Official Dress and Colors • History and set up of organization • PowerPoint of previous year • Pictures of the events • Scrapbook and Chapter Exhibit • Have active members talk about what they have done- they are the best recruitment • All students are members • Students report what was discussed at the meetings • Have an FHA-HERO bulletin board- post all activities

Outside the classroom • FHA-HERO Week • Do activities for each day • Posters • Campus clean up (or other community service) • Knowledge bowl • Lunch activity • Wear FHA-HERO uniforms • Club RUSH • Have booth • Handout information sheets with upcoming events/meeting • Posters • Date, time, and location of next activity

Point System: (Members must earn a number of points each term for a percent of their grade) • Program of Activities list given out for each term. • Each activity is worth 25 points, can do more for extra credit, 15 points • Assign a number of points for different activities so members can choose • Sign in sheets
B. Other rewards • Members can receive recognition through the Golden State Degree Program • Scholarships to some colleges for being an active member • Activities letter with insert • FHA-HERO Emblem patches, pins, stickers, pens and pencils, certificates, monetary credit toward State Meeting

Fundraising • Cookbook sale • Drive Thru-BBQ • See’s Candy • Lollipops • Pizza cards • Monthly Lunches for Faculty and Staff • Cake, Apron sales • Car Washes • Fashion Show- do the food or put on • Quilt Raffle-check with your district on how to do this • Pre-event ticket sales • Catering Banquets and other events
