SUN SPOTS sunspots are a phenomenon that has been around for 2000 years they were first found by the Greeks helped us with there knowledge in about 4th century BC. Despite there early observations it was only after the invention of the telescope in 1609 and the only real observations of the sun spots were in 1610 by the amazing mathematician and astronomer Galileo galilee.
