Age Group Leagues • 3/4 Youth League- Primary focus is to develop individual stick skills and necessary athleticism. Minimal work on game strategy, other than spacing and moving w/o the ball. • 5/6 Intermediate League - Large portion of time focused on stick development and further grasp of overall flow of a lacrosse game/strategy & increase speed & agility. Increase athlete's expectations they will experience at the 7/8 level. • 7/8 Jr High League - Further develop stick skills, deeper understanding of lacrosse game strategies and final preparation & expectations to play at the HS level.

REC Evaluations • Location HSE High School Turf (Football Stadium) • All Leagues Saturday March 8th • 3/4 REC evaluations will be 11:00-1:00 • 5/6 REC evaluations will be 1:00-3:00 • 7/8 REC evaluations will be 3:00-5:00 • Please be there 25-30 minutes prior to start time. All players must have registered with SPORTS and at HSELAX.com.
Rec Teams • 3/4 League (7-9 Games) • Mainly Intramural • 1-3 Local Teams • End of Season Tournament • Set Practice/Game Schedule • 5/6 & 7/8 League (8-10 games) • 3-5 Intramural Games • 2-4 Local Games • 1 In State “Travel” possible
Select Travel Teams • 5/6 A - Dedicated Travel Team • 5/6 B - Travel Team TBD will play in recreational league, but play in a few select tournaments • 7/8 A - Dedicated Travel Team • 7/8 B – Travel Team TBD will play in recreational league, but play in a few select tournaments • Evaluations were In February 2014 • 4-6 Regional “A” games • 3-4 Tournaments • $100-200 additional per player • Travel Costs – room and board • Must Commit to all Travel Games
Equipment • Lacrosse Stick • Lacrosse Helmet • Lacrosse Gloves • Arm pads • Shoulder Pads/Chest Protector • Protective cup • Cleats (football or soccer style – no metal cleats) • Colored Mouth guard (extra in car) • Water Bottle – With water!! • Weather Appropriate Attire • Equipment Management is EVERY Players Responsibility

Players Responsibility • Be At Practice On Time and Ready to Go • Have All of their Equipment with Them • Players Should ask Coaches first – Then Parents • Respect the Referees • Respect the Game
Parent Expectation • Support Your Player – Be a great Spectator • Support Your Coach (24 Hour Rule) • Respect the Referees • Make Sure you player is properly equipped and hydrated • Communicate Injuries to Coaches, even if they are just suspected • Respect The Game – Your Players will Reflect You
Volunteers Expectations • Team Parent(s) • Parent Volunteer Concessions • Field Day – March 15th • Concessions – (Team/Day) • Expectation 4 Hours per Player –Volunteer fee will be returned if you complete.
