  2. Juror 1 • Foreman (in charge) • Assistant Varsity B’ball coach at a HS • Communicates with guard – does his job • He gets annoyed with 10 and asks him to be the foreman instead

  3. Juror 2 • Timid, quiet, shy • Listens to others arguments and opinions

  4. Juror 3 • ANGRY • Stubborn • Background history with his son (gets emotional) – takes his anger out on the boy on trial (pride) • Impolite/rude • Final one to decide not guilty

  5. Juror 4 • Serious • Wears glasses – this is the evidence that makes him change his mind • Good sense of deduction

  6. Juror 5 • He knows how to fight with a knife – he lives in the same type of neighborhood as the defendant • Shy/nervous (passes first time) • Nurse at Harlem Hospital

  7. Juror 6 • Doesn’t contribute a lot to the discussions • He does focus on the others conversations • Told the 8th juror to give up • Painter

  8. Juror 7 • Doesn’t care about the trial – ignorant • Wants to get it over with so he can go to the baseball game • Quite rude to the others – impatient • Doesn’t let others talk • Doesn’t like the weather

  9. Juror 8 • First to say not guilty, but is not sure if he’s guilty or not in the beginning • Convinced the others • Determined • Bought the knife in the neighbourhood • He cares about the trial • Architect

  10. Juror 9 • old man • He is sympathetic towards the old man witness • He was the first one to change his answer to not guilty to support juror 8; respectful • He scrutinized the witnesses in the trial – e.g. glasses • He was able to convince others

  11. Juror 10 • He doesn’t show a lot of respect for the other jurors • Ill • He discriminates others (prejudiced)

  12. Juror 11 • German • Watchmaker • Thinks carefully before he says something • He yells at #7 for changing his mind without a reason

  13. Juror 12 • Advertising • Changes his opinion often – he’s easily convinced • Quieter characters
