  4. Iranians • Majority of them are Persian • Speak Persian/Farsi • Roots • Indo-European decent • Persian Empire • Allowed the regions to keep their culture • Improved trade routes throughout the ME • Art today is still influenced by the Persian Empire

  5. Kurds • Live in Turkey, Iran, Iraq • Speak a language related to Persian • Were nomads • World War I • Lost their freedoms • Mistreated • Iraq, Iran, and Turkey refused to give them freedom • Have been victims
