Student Conduct • Transportation puts in the student conduct report, describes the student, the incidents, and makes sure to assign the appropriate school THEN CLICKS FORWARD.
How the Software Works • The software changes the status of the report to FORWARD, meaning the report is in the hands of the school awaiting administrative action AND sets up the EMAIL form with the appropriate email addresses for the school’s administrator.
School ReceivesStudent Conduct Via E-Mail • The administrator receives the email, logs in, reviews the report, decides what to do and documents in the system what is done.
After Taking Action The administrator clicks CLOSE REPORT BUTTON CLOSE REPORT
Press Send Closing Student Conduct Report • A pop up window will appear like the one below • Press Send Button then OK Press OK
Student Conduct • At any point in this process a parent report can be printed (PRINT REPORT), or a PDF can be created that can be saved, printed, or emailed home. • The Parent Report does not show internal comments made by the School or the Transportation Department.
This Guideline is to give School Administrators the Choices for each Level of School Bus behavior. • Level One - Infraction Guidelines 1 Conference with students and ticket home. 2 Conference with student and parent. 3 Bus Suspension (3 Days) and Conference 4 Bus Suspension (7 Days) and Conference 5 Bus Suspension (30 Days and Conference – in person. 6 Bus Suspension (Remainder of year or 4 months) and Conference – in person. • Level Two - Infraction Guidelines 1 Bus Suspension (5 Days) and Conference. 2 Bus Suspension (10 Days) and Conference. 3 Bus Suspension (30 Days) and Conference – in person. 4 Bus Suspension (Remainder of year or 4 months) and Conference – in person. • Level Three - Infraction Guidelines 1 Bus Suspension (10 Days) and Conference – in person. 2 Bus Suspension (30 Days) and Conference – in person. 3 Bus Suspension (Remainder of year or 4 months) and Conference – in person. Infraction Guidelines • School Administrator has the right to use any number within a level. • Reoccurring offenses should progress through each level. • Never go backwards or repeat a step within a level.
Any Infraction with Restitution • Any level of infraction that requires reimbursement from the Parents needs to be processed as follows: • Transportation will email a receipt for restitution to the School Administrator. • Student will be automatically suspended off the school bus until restitution has been paid. • School Administrator must notify Transportation (623-237-6262) when restitution is paid full. • School Administrator lets Accounting Department know to Journal Entry funds to Transportation.
