2012 Review Impact • Smaller projects – Three & Four schools • Shorter projects – Six week programmes • Increased participation from schools • Better “buy in” from school management & teachers • Better understanding from clubs on “adding value” • Better performances from children – ASDA kwik • The beginnings of a competition culture

2013 Plan for schools Cricket Creating the Future • Increasing numbers of projects to meet needs • A greater degree of overall management from WCL • Projects must be focused on competition • Co-ordination with other sports for competitions • Assisted delivery of KPIs – Teacher CPD & assemblies • More awareness of “Added Value” practices
2013 Planning New Proposal Method • Projects all primary school based – 2 to 6 schools • Projects based around competition – Set date • Set curriculum hours per school– Size dependent • Structured intra school activity - Lunchtimes • Teacher training – CDP funded by WCL • National Cricket Day – Time funded by WCL • School Assemblies – Training and funding
2013 Planning Funding paid per school (6 week programme) • Curriculum – 1 hour per week • Extra curriculum – 1 hour per week • Festivals - 6 hours funded per project • Structured intra school activity – ½ hour per week • National Cricket Day – 3 hours per school • Teacher training – 30 minutes per school on project • School Assemblies – 30 mins per school on project

2013 Planning Project Rewards – On achievement of KPIs • Intra School Matches – min. 6 matches per school • One C2S festival per project • One CFT course per project • Assemblies – 50% of the project schools • Teacher CPD sessions – 50% of the project schools • National Cricket Day – 75% participation rate • Hitting all targets - £250 Delivery Fee
