  5. “SEG-P” Data Standard Format • Needed for easy exchange of data • Existing formats (eg SEGY/SEED) not optimal for industrial passive seismic data • Discussed with operators, service companies, and academics • Proposal is two phases: 1. Unique definition of SEGY headers for acquisition parameters of passive seismogram data (triggered and continuous) with 3C configuration • Ideally work with existing SEGY viewers 2. XML based meta-file containing hypocentral parameters
