Evidence Sought • Photocopy - note may be linked to manufacturer and ink used • Fingerprints - on paper or envelop • Paper Examination – manufacturer, watermarks, composition, chemicals • DNA – on stamp or back seal • Ink – manufacturer • Trace evidence – any hair or fiber that might have fall into envelop or stuck to materials • Cellophane tape – manufacture and teat patterns for dispenser • Indented writing – fibers, trace from overlying paper • Handwriting – profile, similarity with other questioned documents
