Technical Product Designer Salary - £28,000 - £32,000 Potential Route GCSE Product Design A Level Product Design Resistant Materials Product Design @ University A CAD based Designer is sought to work within the Technical Department of a leading supplier of Visual Merchandising and shop-fitting solutions for Global Retail companies. They have a fast paced and challenging environment which is rewarding and constantly forward thinking being both pro-active to the development of the business and reactive in respect of the industry and their expansive portfolio of clients. Working from designs supplied by the creative department or clients, you will be producing detailed assembly models and technical drawings, developing existing products and conducting site surveys in preparation of the design of fitted installations. The candidate will have technical industry experience within shopfitting, furniture or exhibition design particularly with MDF, tubular steel or sheet steel and excellent working knowledge of Solidworks. You must be able to demonstrate an organised approach to problem solving, have outstanding communication skills and be able to work constructively with all departments.
