  2. Claudia has been involved with some sort of animal her entire life. She started riding horses when she was 7 years old. Years later she purchased her first horse of many and began a show career lasting 35 years. In that time she accumulated 7 state titles, one national title, one reserve national title and 2 top five awards on the world level. She was extremely lucky to accomplish this. Also during that time Claudia was involved with horse youth groups and 4-H, and also did some judging. Claudia has also been very active with dogs. Her family always had dogs when they were growing up and her love for dogs has continued. Claudia currently owns a 9 year old Wire Fox Terrier named Sophie. Sophie has been certified since 2007 and has accumulated over 400 documented visits and has earned her TDIEVA certification. In addition Sophie also has her Therapy Dog Title with AKC. Claudia currently visits Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet, Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox and The Illinois Veteran’s Home in Manteno with Sophie. Claudia is now a Certified TDI Evaluator and is also a Certified Evaluator with AKC for their Canine Good Citizen Program (CGC). Claudia truly enjoys testing dogs so that they can get their certification. She would love for everyone to experience the joy of bringing happiness to others with their dogs.
