Agenda • ENTM feedback • DIMR summary • Mezzanine slab repair • Price enquiry for dismantling activities • Action list • Next steps • Tour de table
ENTM feedback • The presentations are available here: https://edms.cern.ch/document/1297956/1 • The talks have been wellreceived • Commentsraised: • Shielding plate above TCSC and Splitter plug-in tables • Proposal to exchange all the cables containing PVC in TDC2 + TCC2 work estimate for TDC2 only • Betterprotect the guidingrods of TCSC
Summary of ProvisionalDose estimates CompletedDIMR’s: https://espace.cern.ch/rpps/wdp/docs/Forms
DIMR summary • Meeting last week, review of all DIMR • Improvement of magnet and collimator handling procedure: the use of camera helps a lot and human contact with hot objects is no longer necessary dose reduction. • Some activities are missing in the MDAV DIMR: disconnection and reconnection of the vacuum flanges Jose will add this part in the DIMR. • Proposal to remove hot MDAV and exchange with less activated spare magnets question to Jeremie • RP Supervision RP and waste management are each estimated to 5% of the whole collective dose instead of 10 % due to the use of remote cameras. • Transport support for EN/EL, EN/CV, GS/CE & TE/VSC (ion pumps) to be included in dedicated DIMR. • Get in touch with C. Richard (EN/EL) to make free the parking area in front of BA80 which is currently full of empty cable drums.
Mezzanine slab repair • Visit the mezzanine with Prezioso. • The most appropriate solution is a reinforced flexible resin to create a retention basin. The works normally require the surface of the concrete to be scarified (ground back to provide a key) However this would not be possible in view of the RP constraints. Prezioso have proposed that they clean and wash down the area with a solvent. Some areas will require a small bund wall to be built from light weight concrete blocks which would then be covered in the resin. • This solution would not completely eliminate the water as there seems to be at least one of the HVAC units that leak from inside the box. Having said that, it would significantly reduce the possibility of water penetrating to the tunnel. • Price estimate: 47 kEuros
Price enquiry for dismantling activities • Removal of 200 m of cable trays • Removal of 50 m of gangways • Cleaning + painting splitter rails • Cleaning the XTAX floor • (Remove the cooling pipes (with asbestos)) • Waste management: pre-conditioning • On request jobs
Action list from last meeting • Laser scan of TA801 (Thursday): completed • New dose rate measurement: completed • TCSC and Target boxes storage in B955: meeting held & agreement with GS • Risk analysis (cranes BA80, B954, B955): in progress (D. Lafarge) • Shielded containers for target boxes and monitors: first layout achieved by C. Magnier • ENTM on July 2nd: completed
