  2. When you think of technology, what comes to mind? Did you think of some of these things? These are all examples of technology, but technology includes much more than just electronic devices.

  3. Technology is… • anything man makes out of available resources to satisfy wants or needs. • Here are some examples of technologies that may not have come to mind… • Think about how each of these meets a want or need.

  4. Our world is divided into 3 parts: Read each category and the examples given for each category.

  5. The Designed World is also divided into categories…

  7. 2. Transportation Technologies

  8. 3. Energy & Power Technologies Solar Panels Nuclear Power Plant Wind Farm Diesel Generator

  10. 5. Information/CommunicationTechnologies
