  3. Forward • The New Merged Branch Will be Known As ………………. (To be agreed) • The Branch Will Have Two Constituents Known As Central and West Lancs and Cumbria. • The New Branch Will Be Governed By Branch Rules. • Each Constituent Part Will Have It’s Own Set Of Rules. • Members Of The Branch Will Elect The Branch Officers. • Members Of Each Constituent Part Will Elect It’s Own Officers. • Branch Office Will Be Based In Preston. • Cumbria Office Will Be Based In Kendal • Further Offices Will Be Based In Both The Accrington Site (The Globe) and At The Blackburn Site. Senior Branch OfficersTo Be Elected On A Bi-Annual Basis • Branch Chair, To Be Elected By Branch Membership. • Branch Secretary, To Be Elected By Branch Membership. • Branch Treasurer , To Be Elected By Branch Membership. • Branch Vice Chair, To Be Elected By Branch Membership. • Assistant Branch Secretary, To Be Elected By Branch Membership. • Assistant Secretary Cumbria To Be Elected By The Cumbria Section. Branch OfficersTo Be Elected On A Bi-Annual Basis • Secretary Postal, To Be elected By C&WL Postal Members. • Secretary Consumer & Business, To Be Elected By Consumer & Business Members. • Section Secretary C&WL, To Be elected By C&WL Members. • Section Secretary Cumbria, To Be Elected By Cumbria Members. • Assistant Secretary Cumbria, To Be Elected By Cumbria Members. • Branch Safety Co-ord, To Be Elected by Branch Membership.   6. Committee’s • Each Section To Elect It’s Own Committee. • Section Committee Meetings Will Choose Delegates To Attend Branch Committee Meetings (Location To Be Agreed). • Each Constituent Will Have Autonomy Over It’s Various Committees (Retired, Political etc) As Per Pre-Merger. Notes.

Meetings • Branch AGM To Be Held Annually (Location To Be Agreed). • Section AGM To Be Held Bi-Annually (Location Agreed By Section). • Branch Senior Officers To Meet On A Weekly Basis (Location To Be Agreed). • Branch Officers To Meet On A Monthly Basis (Location To Be Agreed). • Branch USR’s To Meet As And When Directed By The Branch Safety Co-ord (Location To Be Agreed). • Each Section Will Hold Branch Meetings As Per Pre-Merger. • Branch Committee Meetings To Be Held Quarterly (Location To Be Agreed). • Delegates To CWU Conference As Per Pre-Merger.   8. Branch Finances • All Claims To Be Submitted In The Usual Way. • Branch Finances To Be Audited Annually. • Two Auditors Will Assist The Treasurer At The Annual Audit. One Member From Each Constituent Will Be Chosen. • Audit Meeting Location To Be Agreed. • Constituent Welfare Arrangements As Pr- Merger. Notes.
