Search Professionals in your chapter • Chapter MIT awareness – Stand up local programs/promote national programs as your own • Promote/advertise programs to existing members, encourage new members to join • We are asking the following chapters to provide us with their status: • Alabama • Central California • Charlotte • Detroit • Indianapolis • Minnesota • Nashville • RTP • San Diego • South Florida • Southern California • St. Louis • Toronto
SIM National Members in Transition (MIT) Program“It’s about the network” • The Members in Transition program is designed to be used by every member of SIM. • The National MIT program was established to: • Members looking for the next opportunity • Seeking advice, connections and leads • Thinking about their next career move • Members looking to help – (passive & active) • Publish employment opportunities • For your company • Provided to you by executive search professionals • Hire MIT members as part time/Contractor resources • Offer advice or make an introduction to your colleagues • Executive Search Professionals • Allow Members to connect with you about their next opportunity • Local Chapters • Provide support to local chapters that may want to start or strengthen local MIT programs

SIM MIT Program – Status Update Observations: • There is interest from the membership – as represented by the growth in the program. • Many people still do not know about the program, or how to join • Some chapters find it challenging to spend time on standing up, or evolving local programs

Search Professionals in your chapter? • We would like to ask them to help • Encourage existing members to join the MIT group • Sign up all new members • Promote to existing members • What more would you like to see from National? • Other programs, communications, marketing material…. • How can we help you stand up local services? • Coupled with the National services, your chapter can rebrand the entire program as its own. • Another robust service offered by your local chapter: • Encourage new members to join. • Encourage existing members to stay and attend meetings.
