Awareness about the topic is scarce, so this day is dedicated to creating some to clear out the fear about the disease among the people. ✅ The first factor is to be confident about the treatment. Mostly, the patient and the family members fear the disease, which can hinder the treatment. Thus it is essential to be brave during the treatment time. ✅ The second is to provide a strong support system for the patient. Family members and relatives should provide the best support for the patient. Financial aid is also crucial since it is costly, and government and NGO programs can help financially struggling people avail of treatment.

When the blood cancer patients undergo chemotherapy, their red blood cell count can decrease, and only voluntary blood donors can help at these times. ✅ Fourth is stem cell donation. People are starting to register themselves for stem cell donation, but the requirement is more. HLA testing should be done. If the patient does not match their relatives, your stem cell can help save their lives. You must register for stem cell donation, and only when required will you be contacted for assistance. ✅ Lastly, follow-up. After the treatment, the patient should regularly visit the doctor for follow-up tests, ensuring that the disease is under control.
