Identify language skills of current Workforce to deliver a healthcare service bilingually. Each service team supported to provide a bilingual service by developing an action plan outlining how through creative workforce planning training and recruitment They will be enabled to close any identified Welsh Language skills gap. Reassure- simple steps. Not expecting or aiming for fluent Welsh language skills, but the ability to communicate simple messages to put patients at their ease is an excellent first step towards many more 'words of comfort.'
