(PMA, OPS/OSM, ACNUR, UNICEF, UNFPA, PNUD). • Misión de evaluación en Guayas, Manabí, Los Ríos, Esmeraldas. Febrero 2006 • Visitas y acompañamientos a los COE provinciales. Marzo 2006 • Apoyo técnico a los comités de crisis de contingencia alimentaría (MB, MAG, DC, PMA) y salud (SRS-GYE)

  8. PROYECTO MITIGACION DEL IMPACTO EN LA SALUD DE LA POBLACION POR LAS INUNDACIONES DE LA REGION COSTA DEL ECUADOR 2006

  9. OBJETIVO Reducir el riesgo de enfermedades transmisibles y proporcionar medidas de salud publica a la población afectada

  10. Población beneficiada • 100.000 personas • Población general en áreas de riesgo, grupos vulnerables • Personal de salud • Provincias del Guayas, El Oro, Los Ríos, Manabí y Esmeraldas.

Resultados esperados • Brotes de enfermedades transmisibles controlados mediante vigilancia epidemiológica, detección y tratamiento oportuno. • Condiciones de salud ambiental mejoradas, incluyendo acceso a agua segura, saneamiento y fortalecimiento del programa de control de vectores. • Concientización publica incrementada, mediante apoyo y capacitación del sector salud incluyendo salud mental.
