  1. Printed Organic FETs on Plastic Timothy P. Lodge, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, DMR 0212302 Principal Investigators Tim Lodge (IRG-1) Dan Frisbie (IRG-2) Industrial Collaborator Mike Renn, Optomec, Inc. Description and Significance An industrial aerosol jet printing process was used to print all components of OFETs (metal, organic semiconductor, insulator) on plastic substrates. The OFETs feature a novel high capacitance ion gel gate dielectric facilitating OFET operation at voltages less than 2 V. A patent on the new ion gel material has been filed by Frisbie and Lodge. Supported by UMN MRSEC DMR 0212302
