  4. Feedback on STANAG Relevance and Implementation Challenge: • How to solicit information on STANAG implementation and relevance? Mechanisms: • NDPP: Feedback from Nations on STANAG implementation • Feedback from operations / NATO exercises / Evaluation events • Exercises and Evaluations as venues to assess interoperability to include NATO Standards • Direct “field” input to NSA (Standardization Deficiency Questionnaire)

Use of NATO Evaluation System for Validation of STANAGS Considerations: • NATO / National Exercises and NATO Evaluations for STANAG validation • Exercise / evaluation objectives • Purpose of NATO Evaluation Programme • Augmentation of evaluation team • NSA / MCSBs to facilitate identification of key STANAGs and SMEs to participate in process

NSA/ACT/ACO MoU - Expected Outcome - • Formal process for Bi-SC input to MC SBs & WGs addressing operational standardization requirementsand priorities • Targeted NATO Command Structure (NCS) participation in Boards & WGs • Improved reporting mechanism for LI in operations, exercises and evaluations doctrine development process • Introduction of a “formal” process for validation of standards in exercises
