  1. Nichols’ News Week of: Jan. 27th- 31st This Week: Language Arts- We will be learning about adverbs that tell when and where! Reading- We will read The Night the Moon Fell and make connections to text! Math- We will continue learning about fractions and comparing parts to a whole or set! Science- We will be learning about weather and patterns of change! Writing- We will work on our Read Around the Planet activities! Spelling Words: downstairs football cowboy houseboat rainbow boyhood oatmeal soybean roadway outplay daydream stopping hugging messes lunches which mule bow cent real REMINDERS- -Math and Spelling Homework is due on Friday. -On Friday mornings, we will be collecting cans. They must be in a plastic bag and you can leave them out front in the trailer!  We are still collecting plastic bags until Jan. 31st!! Jan. 30th- Parker Family Math Night and 100th Day of School Celebration and Cookie Dough/Pizza Fundraiser Kickoff Feb. 5th- Early Release at 2:00pm Please bring boxtops!!! 
