Specific Topic Entry Pages – STEPs • Why? • Tailor the Toolbox to a specific target group • Allow partners to use it more precisely for their knowledge management or capacity development activities and strategies • How? • Compile an overview of relevant SSWM factsheets on one specific topic: • Region/Language • Target group of partnering organisation • Specific concept Specific Topic Entry Pages (STEPs)

STEP currently in development • GASS – Gestión de Agua y Saneamiento Sostenible en América Latina • in collaboration with Cap-Net and IDB • currently beta version online featuring 16 factsheets adapted to Latin American context • Used in ToT in Mexico, Bolivia, Peru and Nicaragua • Keen interest for further development to support regional networks and trainers to guarantee multiplying effect

STEPs planned for development • GISA − Gestão Integrada e Sustentável de Água, Saneamento e Segurança Alimentar • SSWM for Portuguese speaking countries • beta version and ToT in Mozambique planned until June 2014 • GDEA – Gestion durable des ressources en eau et assainissement • SSWM for French speaking countries • Collaborations envisioned in Haiti and Mali

Planned: Integrity Management Toolbox Zambia Background • increasingly important role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Zambian water sector • integrity challenges arising from private sector being hardly embedded in overarching policy structures The IM Toolbox Zambia • focus on Zambian context and integrity issues arising from SME engagement • SME can be affected by external corruption risks but can also be drivers of corruption (e.g. by charging inflated prices to their customers or compromising on quality of technical installations)
