  2. Formula - describes a relationship (or pattern) between two or more variables.

Using Formulas • Use the formula D=rt to answer these questions. • If you travel for 3 hours at a rate of 50 mph, how far will you have traveled? • If you are running 6 mph for a half an hour, how far did you run? • If you travel 200 miles for 5 hours, how fast were you traveling? • If you travel 357 miles for 7 hours, how fast were you traveling?
