Purpose of LDS • Make informed data-driven decisions to improve student learning. • Provides districts, schools, and teachers with access to data (Attendance History, Assessments, Enrollment History, Course History) beginning with the 2006-2007 school year. • Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses at the school, classroom, and individual student level. • Identify reoccurring impediments to student learning.

Available Assessments in LDS • Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) • Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests-Modified (CRCT-M) • End-of-Course Tests (EOCT) • Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) • Georgia High School Writing Test • Georgia 8th Grade Writing Test • 21st Century Skills Assessment • Georgia Alternative Assessment (GAA)

  4. Best Practices for District Data Staff • Perform a full GTID claim of all active students once a month • Auto-upload Student Course Profile (SCP) to automatically refresh overnight • Margaret Samuel (msamuel@doe.k12.ga.us) can help set up this process for your district
