  3. Hitler quickly rose in rank within the Nazi party. Why did they choose Hitler to be their leader in 1921?

The Nazi’s used this as an excuse to launch a pogrom against the Jews. Throughout Germany and Austria, synagogues and other Jewish institutions were burned, Jewish stores were destroyed, and their contents looted. At the same time, approximately 35,000 Jewish men were sent to concentration camps. What was this night known as?
