Education Nursing programs require nursing, anatomy, physiology, chemistry, nutrition, microbiology, physiology, among other classes Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) takes about 4 years Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) takes about 2 to 3 years to complete You must get clinical experience in different departments of the hospital The BSN requires more training and studying

Job Outlook From 2010 to 2020 the demand for nurses is expected to grow 26% which is faster than any other career Older people may prefer to be treated at home so home heath nurses may be wanted Nurses with a bachelors degree are wanted more than those without one Advanced practiced registers nurses are wanted in inner city and rural areas To attract nurses hospitals may provide family friendly hours or bonuses
