Solution: You may have to use your personal computer yet again!
Finding your Video… • Search YouTube for your videos of choice • Copy the URL for selected videos and paste it into the downloader.
Click on the File Folder Icon beside Save To: • Select from the list where you want your video saved. You will want to make sure you can find your video so you can convert the video as a usable video or as a sound. 4 3
Click Download • You can view your activity by clicking the Activity Tab 6 5
The Activity Tab You can see what you are downloading or converting and the time that is expected for completion. You also can pause actions to help with speed and ease.
Your video is downloaded now what? You can choose to convert your video into many types of videos depending on how you will play them or you can convert them to a sound file. Once the video is converted to a usable format for your needs you can use that video at anytime with or without internet access especially if you burn it to a DVD….. BUT If you want to combine videos or make your own with pictures or video clips and add the sound file you will need a movie maker, I use Windows Movie Maker, you can also use iMovie.
Converting 1 • Select the correct file from the menu • Select the correct type of file to convert to • Click Convert Video 2 3
Making Your Movie! • Open your program for movie making. *You can download Movie Maker from the Microsoft webpage for free. • You will want to add the photos and or videos in the order you wish to view them in. * The order is not necessary but it will save you time. Your content will appear in this work box. You will be able to move items around to put them in order or to start and stop music.
Manipulating Your Movie Using the Video Tools tab you can (1) remove or change the volume of the sound on the video clip (2) fade the sound as the video starts or ends (3) adjust the speed (4) edit the clip to start at a specific time or end you can also cut out pieces and then join the clips together. 1 4 2 3
Using the Music Tools tab you can (1) control the volume (2) if the music fades as it starts or ends-helpful when merge two songs together (3) set the start and stop of the song-helpful when the song has silence at the beginning or the end of the clip or if you want to use just a segment. *If using a segment you can repeat it over and over again by copying and pasting in the work space 1 3 2
Using the main tool bar you can add Titles and captions as well as credits. You can also rotate or add various transitions and finally save your movie. When saving you can save it as work in progress, a file on your computer, e-mail or even burn a DVD
