Why study networking? • Opportunities abound • People with ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and networking skills are in short supply • The U.S. Department of Labor estimates the number of jobs for network systems and data communication analysts will grow by 53 percent from 2008 to 2018. 2. You don't have to be a math wiz Networking starts with basic logic and connections. (ICT) and basic math and reading comprehension.

Systems Analyst Involved in designing systems and making recommendations Many work for hardware and software companies Some work as contractors and consultants Must be able to communicate effectively with programmers, technicians, and engineers Usually requires four-year degree
