TOOLS SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING • PinPoint tool status update and discussion of the current and future capabilities of the PinPoint tool • Expanding PinPoint capabilities in the realm of preferred parts identification for both government and OEM preferred parts • Completion of a PinPoint Roadmap – currently in draft form • Demonstration of PinPoint capabilities

JOINT POLICY & COUNTERFEIT SUBCOMMITTEE MTG. • Resolved comments provided by PSMC members concerning a proposed Change Notice to MIL-STD-3018 to update the document and add requirements for counterfeit parts and use of lead free electronic parts • Proposed Change Notice will be forwarded for formal coordination by the document’s Preparing Activity

  6. ACTION ITEM • One important action item carried over from the previous meeting: participants need to submit information to DSPO (donna.mcmurry@dla.mil) for building a strong parts management business case.
