Demonstration Project Goals 1. To evaluate and recommend a suitable Utility Communications Architecture (UCATM) compliant substation LAN. 2. To demonstrate the use of this substation LAN technology in one or more pilot projects at one or more designated utility sites. 3. To demonstrate interoperability between IED equipment from different vendors.
