Materials • Modeling Paste: acrylic polymer medium that thickens the acrylic. It’s white so it tints it if you mix directly with the paint. You can apply it first to areas you want to texturize, let it dry then paint over it. • Wax medium- extends the life of the acrylic, makes it thicker. Careful with brushes- waxy! • Matte medium- when mixed with your acrylic will take some of the shine out of the paint. Also makes the paint more transparent. • Gloss medium- when mixed with the acrylic will make it more glossy/shiny. Also makes the paint more transparent.
