ICD-9 Wont Disappear completely! September 30, 2014 and back claims will still need ICD-9-CM
Why? VS This patient did NOT provide insurance information! Instead the patient provided incorrect information!
Quiz Time 1) Our patient was seen September 30, 2014. What code set would you use for the claim?
Next Question: 2) Our patient was seen September 30, 2014. This patient didn’t offer insurance information. Today is September 30, 2016, the patient reveals that they have coverage through Aetna. What code set would you use for this claim?
