4. Use this number between double curly brackets {{number}} to cite a reference when working offline

5. Using Write-N-Cite

8. Open your Word document and launch Write-N-Cite

9. Start writing and place the cursor where you want to cite a reference. Click on “cite” in Write-N-Cite. A placeholder for the reference will appear.

10. After completion of your article click on “bibliography”

11. Choose your Output Style and click on “Create Bibliography”

12. A new copy of your article opens up with the reference list added at the end of the article

13. If the Output style must be changed go back to your original article and repeat the previous step

16. Mark the desired journal or output style and click on “Add to Favourites”

17. Compile a bibliography from your database
