  2. What is interact? • Interact = International Action

  3. NjHS • National Junior Honor Society • Attain honor roll status every quarter during seventh and eighth grade • Can’t miss honor roll twice or more during these 2 years • If selected, must complete 10 hours of community service • This isn’t an opportunity to miss!

  4. Interact Junior NJHS isn’t the only organization that recognizes community service. Interact Junior Does Too!

First Community Service Event! • Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk • Honor breast cancer survivors • Raise awareness about steps we can take to reduce the risk of getting breast cancer • Raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with breast cancer research • Volunteer by helping with registration, helping out at booths and water stations • Free shirt and snacks at the youth booth! • Sign-ups NOW!

  7. Become a Leader! • International Project Officer Opportunities • Serve as Officer in Charge • Organize your own community service event!

  8. Turn in Interest Form • Write name, e-mail address, phone number, and grade • Attach 1 dollars with paperclip • Turn in!
