  2. The Olympics are supposed a time when the countries of the world come together in peaceful athletic competition. But these Olympics have several special issues that have and may still shatter that peace

  3. Gay Rights Russia has a bad record when it comes to Gay rights. They are not protected from discrimination and Gay Marriage is illegal. In 2013 they passed a law that made "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations to minors “ Illegal. Many countries including the US considered boycotting the Olympics Russia’s leader (Putin) only made things worst by saying that “Gays were welcome, as long as they leave kids alone”

  4. Terrorist Threat Sochi is near to six Russian “republics” in which there are armed independence movements. Including Terrorists!

  5. Terrorist attacks are common in the Area Will there be one at the Olympics?

  6. The Sochi Winter Olympics are the most expensive winter Olympics ever at $48 billion plus That’s more than all the others combined! Cost & Corruption

  7. Corruption is suspected Because: Corruption is common in Russia Much of the money went to friends of Putin and the Russian Olympic committee There were huge cost overruns
