  2. Session Overview The last thing teachers have is time. This session will explore one existing SmartBoard Science lesson that can be downloaded and used immediately in the classroom. You will assume the role of students and actively engage in completing the lesson, utilizing the SmartBoard tools and experiencing the lesson from the student’s perspective.

  3. Focusing Question • What SmartBoard lesson already exists that I can use in my Science classroom?

  4. Instruction

  5. Chemistry - “The Reaction of Metals to Acid” Chemistry is an essential foundation of Science. It can be intimidating for students, however. This lesson investigates the reaction of metals to acid in an engaging, interactive way. Be sure to following the sequence so you have a surprise ending!

  6. Work Time

  7. Whole Group Work The group will work on this lesson together. They will come up to the SmartBoard and complete it interactively.

  8. Share

  9. Share Participants will discuss the Pros and Cons of the lesson.

  10. Short Break
