Smartboards • The SMART Board interactive whiteboard is a large interactive whiteboard that uses touch technology to detect user input in the same way normal PC input devices, such as a mouse or keyboard detect input. A projector is used to display a computer’s video output on the whiteboard, which then acts as a large touchscreen. Website: http:// smarttech.com These interactive boards are becoming more and more part of every classroom throughout America. Found in almost any classroom because any subject can use it. Cost Can vary from the type of computer one uses with the Smartboard and different types of boards but cost can run from around $3,450- $10,050.
