Serving • Underhand /cross-court • Serve from right side first then alternate sides as you score. • One server each side to start game…2 servers for the rest of the game. • The cross-court player must receive serve. • Re-Serve • Let serve- if the serve hits the net and lands cross –court in the appropriate serving area • Any serve in which you swing and completely miss the birdie
Scoring and other Rules • Scoring: • Play to 15 win by 2 • Only score when your team is serving • Rule Infractions: • Wood Shot: when the birdie hits the edge of the racket • Racket can not break the plane of the net • Racket can not come in contact with the net • If cross court player does not receive the serve • Shuttlecock hit out of play (landing on the line is in) • One hit to return shuttlecock
