HISTORY OF ANGLE • The word angle comes from the Latin word angulus, meaning "a corner". The word angulus is a diminutive, of which the primitive form, angus, does not occur in Latin. Cognate words are the Greek meaning "crooked, curved," and the English word "ankle”. Both are connected with the Proto-Indo European root *ank-, meaning "to bend" or "bow"
ANGLE • When two lines intersect each other at a common end point is called angle. Types of Angle • Acute angle • Right angle • Obtuse angle • Straight angle • Reflex angle
Right angle • An angle which measures 90 degree is called right angle.
Acute angle • An angle which measures less then 90 degree is called an acute angle.
Obtuse angle • An angle which measures greater then 90 degree is called an obtuse angle.
Straight angle • An angle which measures 180 degree is called straight angle.
Reflex angle • An angle which measures greater then 180 degree is called reflex angle.
Objectives • To learn about angles. • By the end of the lesson the students will identify the different types of angles.
Assessment Teacher will assess the students by quiz or worksheets.

Evaluation • Most of the students understood the lesson very well. • They are able to give answers of relevant questions. • But some students couldn't understand, for those teacher will make more effort by the help of work sheets, chart and real objects.
Home Assignment • Make different types of angles with the help of two colored paper.
