Your child should be able to recite the doubles facts from 1-10. Examples: 1+1=2 2+2=4 8+8=16 We used vocabulary like “twice as much” and “one half” while discussing the doubles facts. Next week’s reading theme: I Can Do It Phonics: r-controlled vowels -or for horn High Frequency Words to practice: early nothing along thought Comprehension: Making inferences Grammar: Number words Capitalize days of the week Writing: Write an How-to Friday April 22 – Monday April 25: NO SCHOOL – Easter break May 3-Fieldtrip to the Le Duc Mansion Need 3 more chaperones! E-mail if interested! READING The last day to turn in the 100 CLUB forms will be Friday, April 29th! You have more than two weeks to add as many books as possible to your list! Happy reading!
