General news items Lucie Linssen CLIC physics and detector study meeting March 19th2012
Organisational matters • Plans for setting up a structure => see LL’s presentation at the last meeting. • The emphasis will now be to set up a light “Memorandum of Agreement” document. This document will be: • On the one hand “light and flexible” to make it easy for institutes to join; • On the other hand “allowing institutes to have a say in setting directions and defining objectives to the project”. • We will now invite ILD and SiD to appoint one representative each to help setting up this process. • **** • Following the WWS meeting in Granada, WWS-OC membership is being adapted adiabatically to include more members involved in CLIC studies (e.g. H. Weerts is already appointed, and a proposal for WWS-OC membership of M. Thomson and LL is being considered).
