  3. DEMO • Search – several examples • Utilizing both text and spatial search • Visualization of the results on the map • Globes – Launching map services on to Google Earth and ArcGIS Explorer • Marketplace – search filter added

Summary • GOS is a reflection of the health of our NSDI coordination and interoperability efforts - good and bad – helps us visualize where we want to go • Use your GOS Community to help in your outreach • Need to improve our linkages between our metadata and map services (~40% of service links working) – a good metric to watch for improvement • Demonstrated Portal Enhancements • Visualizing Search and Marketplace results • Globes - enticements to help interoperability
