Visual Communication • Humans communicate by writing letters or reading one. • Bears stand on their hind legs to show that it’s ready to attack.
Auditory Communication • Humans can use auditory communication by saying hello, goodbye, etc. • Mother bears warn their cubs that danger is coming by making a chuffing or braying sound. Hello!
Tactile Communication • A human being can use tactile communication by hugging their child and showing that they love them. • A mother bear can comfort, protect, or punish by using her body, muzzle, or paws.
Chemical Communication • Humans could use chemical communication by smelling things and then showing a face and showing the other person what you feel like. • Dogs can smell other dogs and tell them that they are in their territory.
