On Saturday at 4am in the morning I went with my dad to the Auckland StarDome at One Tree Hill to see Matariki. My dad and I were the first people there so the workers outside told us to go and look in the information room. We walked into the information room and there was a lot of information about planets, the moon, the sun and last but not least how stars were formed. We sat in the planetarium in the dark and within minutes we were in space. We were looking up at the ceiling and they showed us were Matariki was in the sky during the day. We also venture through the solar system and all around the planets. It was so cool! I’m so glad I woke up early and went and saw Matariki.
